Another great rehearsal (11/5/19) is in the books. We had a good turnout. Only a handful of singers could not make it. Some were out hunting the elusive elk. Some traveling the river waters of Eastern Europe on a cruise ship. Some working late. Well done guys.

Here’s what went down.

Our two warm-up songs were Angels We Have Heard on High and Children’s Medley/Jingle Bells. Then Chris went right to our Disney hearts with Tag #97, The Mickey Mouse Club March.

One of our newest singers, Bus H., jumped right up and sang M.I.C.K.E.Y. for his first tag experience. He’s hooked.

After break we busted out Shenandoah, From The First Hello, 409, Daydream, and God Bless America.

Chuck closed us out with Keep the Whole World Singing.

After break we had the opportunity to see and hear our newly formed quartet singing a nice Christmas tune. Good work Scott, Chris S., David, and Ron F.

• Mike is on the hunt for a venue for our Spring show.
• Be sure to get any vacation dates to Duane so he can input them into our calendar. It makes things easier when we are trying to choose dates for events.
• Please be sure to respond to the events posted on web site and emailed as to your availability.
• Saturday December 7th is the Forest Grove Christmas parade. Also, that day is a brunch at 10AM at Mike's church in Hillsboro.
• For those church attendees, it was mentioned to try and use the singing tools we have been taught. Breath support etc. It’s a good opportunity to sing outside of your home or car during the week.
• The Westside Singers have asked us to be a part of their show on Saturday April 25th. More to follow.
• Our TVHM Tri-folds and business cards have been re-done. Please take some and share what we do. But don’t leave them on your car seats. Get them out if you take them.
• David has set up Adopt-a-road dates for 2020 and will get them published to our calendar.

A huge thank-you to Duane. He purchased a gizmo called Chromecast that he has hooked up to the huge flat screen in the Fellowship Hall. We are able to do so much with it. For those of you that arrived early you were able to watch the 2019 Gold medalist Westminster chorus perform. We can even access our website directly through it if we needed to run through music. We’ll be utilizing this more in the near future.
